About Me

Do you feel like your life is on a constant cycle of wake up, do the things, go to bed, repeat? Has this left you feeling like you aren’t really living your life to the fullest? Do you worry that there is something that you are missing about how to really feel alive? Have you felt like you are “just going through the motions”? Have you tried counseling before and did not feel like it was as helpful as you hoped it would be? I understand. I see mental health differently. I want to help people feel like they are really living their lives to their fullest potential, not just solving some symptoms.
I use a mind/body approach to counseling that includes gentle movement, breathwork, mindfulness along with traditional talk therapy. I work to help clients feel like they belong in their bodies, in their lives and in their relationships with others.
I would love to help you find ways to really feel like you are getting the most out of your life. Reaching out can be the hardest step. It can also feel really hopeful to know that you are moving forward toward the life you want.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I help teens and adults living with trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, chronic pain, social anxiety, gender issues and life changes. I have been licensed in the State of Oregon since I moved here about 8 years ago from the Mid-west. I use a variety of traditional counseling theories to provide individualized care for my clients, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and Trauma Focused Care.  I am also a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider.

I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher- 200hr through Yoga Alliance and this provides me with a clearer understanding of how our mind/body connection relates to all aspects of our functioning.

I embrace the interplay between psychology, energy, mind-body medicine, nutrition and the science of the brain to approach counseling more holistically.

In sessions with me, you may enjoy breathwork, movement, meditation to shift neural connections toward healing and self care. Paired with traditional evidence based practices, this prepares all aspects of the self to move toward your personal goals and away from old patterns that no longer serve you.

I also work with my canine companion, Keeva.  Keeva was training to become a therapy dog and work with me as part of a team.  Due to COVID restrictions, Keeva’s social skills have not had as much practice as we would like.  She may appear in the background of telehealth sessions, barking at any passing UPS trucks, joggers, squirrels…ect.
